Cancellation and Refund

Celara Aurum LLP operates short-term vacation rentals and homestay accommodations. All bookings are governed by the following Cancellation & Refund Policy, which is aligned with standard Airbnb guest policies and hospitality industry norms.

1. Nature of Booking

All reservations made with Celara Aurum LLP are short-term accommodation bookings and do not create any tenancy or lease rights. Guests are treated as licensees for the duration of their stay.

2. Cancellation Before Check-In

2.1 Free Cancellation

Guests may cancel their booking up to 5 days before the scheduled check-in date to receive a full refund, excluding any payment gateway or bank charges (if applicable).

2.2 Partial Refund

Cancellations made within 5 days of check-in are non-refundable, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing by Celara Aurum LLP.

3. Cancellation After Check-In / Early Checkout

No refunds will be issued once the guest has checked in.

Early checkout, change of plans, dissatisfaction due to personal preference, or unused nights do not qualify for a refund.

Refunds are not applicable for:

Voluntary departure

Guest misconduct

Behavioural disputes

Violation of house rules

This is in line with Airbnb’s standard Guest Refund Policy.

4. Refunds for Legitimate Issues

A refund (full or partial) may be considered only if all the following conditions are met:

A major issue exists that materially affects the stay (e.g., severe safety)

The issue is reported within 24 hours of check-in

Celara Aurum LLP is provided a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue

The issue is verified by Celara Aurum LLP

Minor inconveniences, subjective dissatisfaction, or expectations mismatch do not qualify as grounds for refund.

5. Guest Misconduct & Termination of Stay

Celara Aurum LLP reserves the right to immediately terminate the stay without refund if a guest:

Engages in abusive, threatening, or disruptive behaviour

Violates house rules

Causes nuisance to neighbours or staff

Damages property

Engages in illegal activities

In such cases, the guest must vacate the premises immediately, and no refund shall be issued.

6. Force Majeure

No refunds will be provided for cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, transport disruptions, or acts of God, unless mandated by law.

7. Mode of Refund

Approved refunds, if any, will be processed to the original mode of payment within 7–10 working days.

8. Final Authority

All refund and cancellation decisions rest solely with Celara Aurum LLP, and its determination shall be final and binding.
